The time has come to tackle the bathroom renovation. You put it off long enough now; let's get to work!

The one thing about bathrooms for me that always annoys me is the blank walls.  

I can never quite figure out the best thing to put on them so that they just don't look bare.  Gathering some supplies from the local Dollar Tree, I conquered a shiplap look for under $20.  

Let's not forget that most of the items, like paint and cutting tools, I already had on hand, but the main materials came from Dollar Tree.

This is such an ingenious idea as Dollar Trees are located everywhere, and most people don't want to spend a lot of money on the typical MDF or Lumber used for shiplap.  

This project took me one day, and I do not regret a single thing about the outcome.

People are so amazed that I use Dollar Tree items to make this shiplap wall behind the bathroom toilet.  

It was such an awkward space, and I did not know what to do with that wall which is the first thing you see when you walk into the bathroom.
