Here is a NEW & Improved White Peel and Stick Tile Version

Finding these tool bench self-adhesive wall tiles is next to impossible inside a store, so I recommend buying them via the website.

They currently do not allow these to be broken down into tiny quantities, but I assure you you will definitely use many of these if you have many bathrooms and a kitchen where you want to install these self-adhesive wall tiles.

They come in two colors, dark grey and white.

Dollar Tree has once again come out with products you would never expect it to carry.

The biggest issue is that many things worth purchasing from Dollar Tree are only available in bulk versus being available in your stores for single-item purchases.

While doing a brief review of items at Dollar Tree, I decided to type in a search for tile just to see what they had as I was redoing a bathroom.

To my surprise, two items I would never have thought would be available showed one in white and one in black for the Subway peel-and-stick tile.

I immediately jumped on the offer to purchase a case of 50 of the white subway tiles.

I was also given the option to have them shipped to my local store for free.

I was so excited! I was trying to buy at least two cases, but for some reason, the system would not allow me to order more than one case for free ship-to-store.

When you go to your local store for your item pick-up, I highly recommend asking an associate to open your package to review your items.

The peel and stick state 12 x 12 on the website, and I wanted to be sure it was not flawed.

The actual picture itself for the white subway tile shows black online, but the wording said white in the description.

Hence, I was a little confused about what I would actually receive, so I wanted to double-check while in the store to request a refund while still in the store versus getting home and having to drive back.

I had very high expectations for the 12 x 12 peel and stick tiles, but once I opened one pack of the tiles, I literally regretted my purchase.

I'm going to explain a few issues with the peel and stick tile to you so you can be aware before you purchase.

TOP ISSUES I FOUND

1. These 12 x 12-inch tiles are two separate Sheetz glued together only by the edges.

It is Hollow in the center, so if you cut these to spit a particular area, you have to worry about keeping the two pieces joined so the tile view side does not stick up.

This is where you will need to purchase glue or something that will connect these while they are up on your wall. 2. The seams are not glued very well; they will break at any moment.

I recommend this glue from dollar tree.

3. You will need to trim some tiles as they were not cut correctly, and you have white outlining a section that may have the faux grout line.

After seeing these minor issues with these 12 x 12 tiles, I became angry with myself for thinking these would be of better quality than what I received.

Even though I saw all of these issues with these tiles, I decided to look past them, go and get my glue, and make this work.

TOP BONUSES I REALIZED

1. The 12 x 12 size does cover a lot of your real estate, so you do not need to use many tiles to cover a single area.

2. The tile pattern is really gorgeous, and it will definitely make anyone believe that it is real.

3. You can wipe this down with a damp cloth, and it is smooth to the touch.

4. The sticky backing of each tile is very strong. When I applied my tile to the bathroom wall, I did not apply any glue to the back because it held on strong by itself.

5. They are easy to remove without damaging your drywall. I tested one tile on the wall for 7 days, and it came off with no problem.

HOW TO APPLY DOLLAR TREE PEEL AND STICK TILES

1. Find a location where you want to install your peel-and-stick tile.

2. Make sure to clean this area thoroughly. It is essential to clean the surface you plan to apply style 2 to adhere well.

4. Make sure the area is 100% dry before you would hear your peel and stick. I recommend using a hairdryer or heat gun if you choose to apply these tiles immediately after cleaning them.

5. Remove the backing from the peel-and-stick tile and apply it to the wall. Make sure to press all over the front and the tile edges so that the backing can adhere to the wall completely.

Remember** there is nothing in the middle of your tile to connect the tile front and the sticky back, so you have to make sure you apply pressure all over the tile to push the sticky part of your wall to proper adhesion.

HOW TO CUT THIS TILE

Cutting the style is very simple; you will need to have double-sided tape on hand or glue.

I mentioned before that the two sides of the tile do not adhere to each other in the center, so when you cut anywhere inside the actual tile, you will have two separate pieces that you will need to connect to go on your wall.

Things you will need to cut this tile
1. Scissors or rotary cutter
2. Cutting mat
3. Ruler or something straight
4. Hot glue, double-sided tape, etc

Here is what I used

1. Make sure to keep the backing on the tile when you are cutting.

2. Place your tile against the area you need to cover and use either a highlighter or something easily removed from the smooth surface to indicate where you need to cut.

3. Lay the tile on your cutting back and place the ruler over the line.

4. Firmly press your rotary cutter and glide up the ruler to cut the line precisely. Just cut along the line you drew on the tile if you have scissors.

5. Now, you will have a hollow center on one edge of your tile that you need to glue together. Apply double-sided tape or glue so these two sections can connect.

6. Remove the backing of your newly cut piece of tile and apply it to the wall.

That's it!

Is this Dollar Tree peel-and-stick subway tile worth it?

Yes! Before discovering these Dollar Tree peel-and-stick Subway tiles, I browsed Amazon and had my eye on a few of them based on popularity and reviews. ( I'll share them with you later)

Then I checked my bank account and realized I needed to be as frugal as possible, but I didn't want to jeopardize the DIY update, which was turning into a hot mess.

These 12 x 12 peel-and-stick tiles were perfect for covering a significant wall area, and I had leftovers to utilize if something happened to a few of them along the way.

Do these Dollar Tree peel-and-stick Subway tiles remove easily?

Sure, do! I must admit that the walls have not been damaged when I removed these tiles; however, when a section of a freshly painted wall I did not allow, it took her long enough, so the adhesive stuck to the paint and came off as well.

I removed it.

Totally my fault, not the tile.

If you're interested, here is the Dollar Tree peel-and-stick subway tile review, and I made a 4- monthly update video.

Earlier, I mentioned I was browsing Amazon, and I had my eye on a few peels and stick tile options that were popular and had great reviews, so here are the ones I will look at if you're interested.

Would I recommend these pills and stick tiles to anyone else?

I already did! These tiles are a huge bang for your buck, and many people, including my own family and friends, are also looking to update their kitchens in other rooms with a backsplash.

Also, we love a good deal, and this Dollar Tree peel-and-stick wall tile is the ultimate deal because it's $1, and it is so legit.

I do not regret my purchase, and I am using these tiles and other areas in my own home; as in my video on YouTube, I use them in a bathroom, but I recommend using them in a half bath versus a full bath humidity.

.... Did you know Dollar Tree sells microfiber mops

If you're interested, check out this video below, where I detail all about these mobs and why you should go pick you some up.
